The last major eruption at the fortress occurred during the annual eruptive phase which lasted several months. Mount Hood – Oregon’s Mount Hood is a 10,000-year-old volcano that is still active today. Yet Mount Hood's eruptions tend to be very selective, often separated by centuries.
